The two will now reportedly face one another on the UFC on FUEL TV 8 event on March 3 from the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. Struve is riding a four-fight winning streak while Hunt has won three-straight but will be coming off a major layoff due to injury. Source: MMA Junkie Dominick Cruz Out Even Longer After Second Surgery Dominick Cruz will have to wait for a chance to defend his UFC Bantamweight crown. The top dog at 135-pounds will be out an indefinite amount of time after requiring another surgery in relation to his ACL injury. The surgery was required after Cruz’s body rejected a ligament from a cadaver. The Bantamweight champ also had his MCL replaced along with the ACL. Cruz hopes to return in early 2013 but did not set any specific date for his return. The event drew an average of 156,000 viewers which is just slightly below the season’s average of 165,000. The number represents the highest amount of viewers for a Bellator event since Bellator 79. Bellator 82 featured Russian prospect Andrey Koreshkov defeating Lyman Good to earn a shot at the winner of Ben Askren vs. Karl Amoussou. Here is me saying I’m retiring and this will be my last fight.” Source: MMA Weekly Felice Herrig Now Set to Face Patricia Vidonic After Michelle Gutierrez backed out of her scheduled fight with Felice Herrig under “questionable circumstances,” Herrig will now face a familiar face in Patricia Vidonic. The two women first met at XFC 17 earlier this year with Herrig taking the unanimous decision. Vidonic will have the chance for redemption on Dec. 14 in Hammond, Indiana at Bellator 84.
