Rousey to defend title at UFC 157 Today, UFC president Dana White officially announced that UFC womens bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her championship title against Liz Charmouche in the main event at UFC 157. Yesterday, there was some speculation that Rousey’s first promotional title defense would be against “Cyborg” Santos due to a post on the UFC’s Brazilian page, however that turned out to be a mistake. Instead, the champ will take on Charmouche, who went 2-2 while fighting under the Strikeforce banner. She fought in each of the first two Invicta FC cards, winning both fights. UFC 157 will take place on Feb. 23 in Anaheim, Calif.
