UFC on Fox 5: Henderson vs. Diaz Weigh-ins (Video) The MMA Corner Staff December 7, 2012 Events, Video On Friday, Dec. 7, the UFC will hold weigh-ins for its upcoming UFC on Fox 5 event which takes place from the Key Arena in Seattle on Dec. 8. The event is headlined by lightweight champion Benson Henderson, who will defend his belt against former Ultimate Fighter winner Nate Diaz in the main event. In addition to the 155-pound main event, the Fox-televised main card also features former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua taking on rising contender Alexander Gustafsson, former multi-division champ B.J. Penn returning to face Rory MacDonald and welterweights Mike Swick and Matt Brown going to battle. The event will feature a total of 11 bouts. A three-hour, six-fight showcase will air on FX, while a single bout will stream via the promotion’s YouTube page. Saturday’s main card will air live on Fox starting at 8 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will be split between a 5 p.m. ET FX broadcast and a YouTube stream beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET. The fighters hit the scales to weigh-in at 7 p.m. ET today.
