Source: The MMA Corner Bellator welterweight tournament field set for Jan. 24 The Bellator welterweight tournament quarterfinals kick off Jan. 24 from Oklahoma’s Winstar World Casino. It will be aired on Bellator’s new television home, Spike TV, live at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card beginning at 8 p.m. and streams live on Spike.com. Undefeated welterweight champion Ben Askren defends his belt against Karl Amoussou and light heavyweight “King Mo” Lawal makes his Bellator debut on the card. The welterweight tournament fights include: Ben Saunders facing Koffi Adzitso. Former Bellator tournament finalist Brent Weedman meets Marius Zaromskis. Unable to fight in the U.S., Daley reportedly has a fight scheduled with Patrick Vallee for the Irish promotion Cage Contenders. The two are expected to meet at Cage Contenders 16 on Feb. 23.
