Chad Mendes vs. Clay Guida Official for UFC on Fox 7 Former featherweight title contender Chad Mendes was supposed to be fighting Manny Gamburyan at UFC 157 but an injury forced Gamburyan off the card. Now Mendes will wait a bit longer but the wait may prove worthwhile as he now draws Clay Guida in a much more high profile match up. The UFC on Fox 7 event is set to take place on April 20 from the HP Pavillion in San Jose. Fischer will face Dave “The Caveman” Rickels and have the chance to avenge the only loss of his career. Bellator’s lightweight tournament continues on Feb. 28 and will also feature a light heavyweight title bout when Christian M’Pumbu defends his title against Attila Vegh. Graham Turner, Paul McVeigh, and Dan Hope have been added to the CW: 52 card. Brad Wheeler is also scheduled to fight on the card. Turner will face Fouad Mesdari, McVeigh will compete against Paul Marin at a 128-pound catchweight, and Wheeler will now have a different opponent as Graham Armstrong is no longer available. The deal is for 18 months and Olivier is expected to be put on a Cage Warriors card soon. Olivier holds notable wins over guys like Brad Pickett and Ronnie Mann among others.
