The season is set to air live and free on Spike TV on these dates, however it has also been announced that the promotion will make its pay-per-view debut on November 2, which will feature Tito Ortiz and Quinton Jackson squaring off in a light heavyweight matchup. Source: The MMA Corner Bantamweight tournament set for Cage Warriors Cage Warriors 59 will play host to a one-night, four-man tournament to determine the promotions bantamweight tournament. The first round of the tournament will see Brett Johns take on David Haggstrom, and Martin McDonough to fight James Pennington. These fights will air on the preliminary portion of the card, to allow for the winning fighters to rest prior to the championship fight. The opening round fights will be two five-minute rounds with a third round available if the result is a draw, while the championship fight will be five five-minute rounds. A reserve fight is also schedule to take place in the event of a fighter not being able to continue and fight for the second time in one night. Cage Warriors 59 takes place in London on Sept. 14. The main event will see Jim Alers defend his featherweight championship against Martin Svensson. Source: The MMA Corner Fight added to UFC 166 A welterweight clash between Adlan Amagov and T.J. Waldburger has been scheduled for UFC 166. Amagov went 2-1 in Strikeforce prior to his recent victory in his UFC debut, while Waldburger is 4-2 in the promotion, recently defeating Nick Catone by triangle choke in December.
