It has been announced that light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will defend his title against No. 1 contender Glover Teixeira at the event. There were questions as to whether or not Jones would compete against Alexander Gustafsson due to how close their championship fight was earlier this month at UFC 165. While the event does not technically have a name, it will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. With the Super Bowl taking place on Feb. 2, the UFC event will happen a day earlier, on Feb. 1. Hallman made his promotional debut earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 28, defeating Francisco Trinaldo by second round submission. UFC Fight Night 30 takes place on Oct. 26 in Manchester, England. While information is still being learned, it appears as though Nova Uniao teammate Andre Santos has revealed that the weight cut is directly related to the incident. Due to the sensitive nature of the material, we do not want to speculate or give any false information. “Feijao” held a professional record of 5-5. He was 26 years old. It was announced today by Cage Warriors Fighting Championships that the two sides have agreed to a contract extension for five fights over the next 18 months. So far in 2013, Inman has gone 3-1. He holds a professional record of 12-5 with all 12 victories coming by way of stoppage.
