Bellator 106 Weigh-In Results

Weigh-ins for Bellator 106: Chandler vs. Alvarez II took place on Nov. 1, with the event taking place the following day from the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, Calif. All main-card fighters, including the six title-fight participants, tipped the scales at or below the limit for their contests. Preliminary-card fighters Joe Camacho and Cleber Luciano both came in significantly over the 146-pound limit for their featherweight clash. They have two additional hours to cut to the featherweight limit.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira injured, out of Alexander Gustafsson fight

Following UFC Fight Night 30 last Saturday, UFC President Dana White announced that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira would face former title challenger Alexander Gustafsson on March 8 in England.

You can now forget about that match-up in a blink of an eye.

“Minotauro” has pulled out of the bout due to back injury, leaving Gustafsson without an opponent for the time being.

UFC adds Brazilian welterweight Hernani Perpetuo

Hernani Perpetuo, a Brazilian welterweight who trains at the famous Nova Uniao camp, has signed with the UFC.

The 28-year-old has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion, but no date or opponent has been announced for the newcomer.

Perpetuo brings in a record of 17-3, including an eight-fight winning streak.

One FC 12 Gets Three New Bouts

Three fights have been added to One FC 12, which takes place on Nov. 15 from the Putra Indoor Stadium in Malaysia.

Lightweights Peter Davis and Alaa Mazloum will lock horns, Saiful Merican will face Tok Sophon, and Bryan Rafiq takes on Leandro Ataides.

The event is headlined by Adam Shahir Kayoom vs. Nobutatsu Suzuki for the welterweight championship.
