The night’s main event featured one of the biggest rematches in the sport’s history, as middleweight champion Chris Weidman looked to prove that his knockout of Anderson Silva at UFC 162 in July was no fluke. The undefeated Weidman stunned the Brazilian and the MMA world with the second-round finish of “The Spider.” In the co-main event, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey faced a familiar foe in her fellow Ultimate Fighter 18 coach, Miesha Tate. The pair previously clashed under the Strikeforce banner, with Rousey forcing Tate to submit to her trademark armbar. Rounding out the main card, heavyweights Josh Barnett and Travis Browne battled for position in the title picture, hard-nosed lightweight Jim Miller took on Brazilian Fabricio Camoes, and TUF winner Diego Brandao clashed with Dustin Poirier in a featherweight affair. The 11-fight event kicked off at 7 p.m. ET with two fights streaming live on the promotion’s Facebook and YouTube pages. Four additional bouts followed on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, with the pay-per-view main card beginning at 10 p.m. ET. For the full results and a recap of the event, click here.
