On Friday, June 13, Legacy Fighting Championship returned to the Arena Theatere in Houston for its 31st event. The main card aired live on AXS TV.

In the night’s main event, the promotion’s middleweight title was on the line as William “Bubba” Bush took on Alfonso Gonzales. Bush was originally slated to face Roger Narvaez at the event, but Narvaez was signed by the UFC and was replaced by Gonzales. Bush entered the contest on a three-fight winning streak, with all three wins coming before the final bell. The 28-year-old had been to the scorecards only once in his nine-fight career.  Gonzales, meanwhile, was making his promotional debut. The Washington-based fighter had yet to taste defeat and had stopped three of his five opponents with strikes.

Also on the card, UFC veteran Damacio Page faced fellow flyweight Elias Garcia. Page had picked up two wins inside the Legacy cage since his UFC release in 2012. Garcia looked to right the ship, having fallen to Henry Cejudo in his last outing.

The 10-fight event kicked off with four, un-aired preliminary card bouts at 8 p.m. ET. The night’s six-fight main card aired live on AXS TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET.
