Yesterday, about two hours before the weigh-ins were set to take place, the UFC released a statement: Due to medical reasons, debuting flyweight Henry Cejudo has been forced to withdraw from Saturday’s UFC 177 bout against Scott Jorgensen in Sacramento. The card will continue as scheduled with nine bouts. Then, with roughly a hour left before the official weigh-ins, it was announced former bantamweight champion Renan Barao was forced to withdraw from his title fight against T.J. Dillashaw. On the latest of notice, former Bellator featherweight champion Joe Soto took the huge step-up from the undercard to take on Dillashaw. As always, the show must go on. Now with Cejudo vs. Jorgensen off the card, here is how UFC 177 is set to go down Saturday night: Bantamweight title bout — T.J. Dillashaw vs. Joe Soto Lightweight bout – Tony Ferguson vs. Danny Castillo Bantamweight bout – Bethe Correia vs. Shayna Baszler Lightweight bout – Ramsey Nijem vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira Lightweight bout – Yancy Medeiros vs. Justin Edwards.
