Pearson (16-7) is coming off a second round knockout victory over former title contender Gray Maynard at UFC Fight Night 47 in August. Prior to this win, fight fans saw ‘The Real Deal’ on the wrong end of a very controversial split decision loss to Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 42 in June. The Englishman will enter this bout with a UFC record of 8-4. Iaquinta (9-3-1), a Serra-Long0 product, is coming off a third round TKO victory over Rodrigo Damm over UFC Fight Night 50 in September. Prior to this win the Long Island native suffered a heart breaking submission loss to Mitch Clarke at UFC 173. He will enter this bout with a UFC record of 4-2. UFC FIght Night 55 is currently schedueld to take place at the Allphones Arena in Sydney on Nov. 8.
