Jason (14-5), winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 1, was last seen on suffering a tough split decision loss to Robbie Peralta at the TUF Brazil 3 Finale in May. Prior to this loss, the heavy-handed Brazilian walked away with a controversial TKO victory over Steven Siler at UFC Fight Night 38 in March. He will enter this bout with 13 career stoppage victories, including eight by way of submission, and a UFC record of 4-2. Niinimaki (21-7-1), a Finland native, will enter this bout riding a two-fight losing streak, with both losses ending in first round submissions. Prior to this string of bad luck, “Stoneface” put together an impressive 12 fight streak, including a split decision in his UFC debut over Rani Yahya at the TUF 18 Finale in November 2013. He will enter this bout with 15 career stoppages, including seven by way of knockout. UFC Fight Night 58 is set to take place on Dec. 20 at the Ginásio José Corrêa in São Paulo, Brazil. A middleweight matchup between C.B. Dollaway and former UFC light heavyweight champion turned middleweight contender Lyoto Machida will serve as the night’s main event.
