On Saturday November 8, 2014 the UFC heads to the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia for UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Bisping.

The main event of the evening features a middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping. Both men are coming off of impressive stoppage victories in their last outings and they are looking to get into the UFC middleweight title mix.

Rockhold and Bisping are electric fighters to watch as it is, but the fact that they genuinely dislike one another really adds depth to the matchup. There is just something about a rivalry that intensifies the viewing experience for fans.

While this card isn’t stacked from top to bottom with “can’t miss” fights, there are some really interesting matchups on tap, meaning the battle for the UFC’s traditional fight night bonuses is going to be intense.

Performance of the Night

Winner of Soa Palelei and Walt Harris – Palelei and Harris are hard hitting heavyweights who know how to finish. This one is not going to go the distance; you can count on that. Expect this one to end in the first round in spectacular fashion with the winning fighter taking home one of the “Performance of the Night” bonuses.

Ross Pearson – Pearson just can’t be in a boring fight; it’s almost like it’s physically impossible for him not to be entertaining. Al Iaquinta is a tough opponent, but he has never faced a fighter on Pearson’s level. Look for Pearson to make a statement to the rest of the UFC lightweight division.

Fight of the Night

Luke Rockhold vs. Michael Bisping – This matchup between Bisping and Rockhold is going to be epic. Both of these men are well-rounded, both men know how to finish and both men hate each other. Regardless of where this fight takes place, it is going to be fun to watch.
