WSOF 16,  live tonight and airing only on NBC Sports Network with online preliminaries airing on the World Series of Fighting’s official website, emanates from McClellan Conference Center in Sacramento, California. WSOF 16’s headliner pits welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares against Jon Fitch, while the co-headliner features featherweight titleholder Rick Glenn clashing with perennial contender Lance Palmer.

Palhares won the title earlier this year with a submission win over Steve Carl while Fitch secured a two-fight winning streak after suffering a loss to Josh Burkman. Meanwhile, Glenn won his featherweight title earlier this year as well with a stoppage of Georgi Karakhanyan, while Palmer, who owed his first pro loss to Karakhanyan, also got himself a recent win in the WSOF, which ultimately caused him to earn another crack at the gold.
