On Saturday, December 20, 2014, the UFC heads to the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil for their final event of 2014; UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Dollaway.

This event isn’t the kind of powerhouse event you would expect the UFC to end the year on, but there is some quality showcase fights for the organization’s Brazilian talent.

As far as gamblers go, this is a card with limited potential. This card is for the more seasoned gamblers out there as it is all about the prop bets.

Antonio Carlos Junior, +135 vs. Patrick Cummins, -155

This is perhaps the most interesting matchup on the card as Cummins looks to welcome TUF Brazil 3 heavyweight tournament winner Carlos Junior to the UFC light heavyweight division. Junior is a multiple time BJJ world champion and one of the most decorated grapplers in the UFC today and at just 24 years young, his future is very bright. But Cummins is no pushover, unless you are Daniel Cormier. Since that loss to Cormier in his UFC debut, Cummins has looked nearly unstoppable.

The play: Take Cummins to win and at +250, take him to win by decision

Mitch Gagnon, +525 vs. Renan Barao, -750

Gagnon is coming into this fight riding a four fight win streak with three of those wins coming in the first round, but he is being thrown to the wolves here. Barao’s pound-for-pound status may have taken a hit when he lost his title to T.J. Dillashaw, but make no mistake, Barao is still a very dangerous fighter. Look for him to come in and fight win a chip on his shoulder in front of his home fans.

The play: At -155, take Barao to win inside the distance

C.B. Dollaway, +450 vs. Lyoto Machida, -600

Headlining the card is a middleweight bout between former light heavyweight champion and middleweight title contender Machida and the always game Dollaway. This bout is a huge step up in competition for Dollaway and while he has earned this bout with impressive back-to-back wins, he is out of his depth here. Machida is one of the best fighters in the world and he will prove that once again on Saturday night.

The play: At -270, take Machida to win inside the distance

The BIG play: At +118, parlay Cummins, Barao and Machida for a reasonable payout
