Another week down in MMA’s stacked 2015 schedule. It is hard to believe that we are already nearly a quarter through with the year. This past weekend the UFC, Legacy, and Titan FC all gave us solid fight cards.

While there probably wasn’t a fight of the year candidate; we quite possibly saw the end of one of the longest running careers in MMA as well as another fighter staking his claim to make one last title run. All of that combined with the announcement of a co-promoted card and the biggest star in MMA’s next fight made for a very interesting week.

There you have it, all of the highlights, results, and news from the past week in MMA. We saw Demian Maia stop the momentum of an undefeated welterweight contender and state that he wants to make one last run at the welterweight title. We also saw Josh Koscheck try to redeem himself after being finished my Jake Ellenberger less than one month ago only to be finished by Erick Silva inside the first round and add more fire to the retirement talk. Now we also know who Ronda Rousey will face next. She will defend her title against Bethe Correia in enemy territory. The trash talk has already been fast and furious from Rousey (pun intended). We just now have to wait until August to see if Correia can be the one to dethrone the champion. This weekend the UFC is taking a well deserved weekend off, but Bellator and World Series of Fighting return to the cage. We will be back on Monday morning to recap it all in case you missed it.
