On Saturday, November 14, UFC 193 Rousey vs Holm will take place in the heart of Melbourne, Australia.

Just like all the other UFC events, the opportunity to pocket some extra “benjamins” ($50,000) is there, so let’s try to figure out who is going to be walking away with a ‘Fight of the Night’ or the ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus.

The UFC 193 main card is absolutely bananas, star-packed for just the casual as well as the hardcore fan. The biggest star in the sport Ronda ‘Rowdy’ Rousey is making her third appearance this calendar year, the New Zealander and walk-away knockout king, Mark Hunt, will showcase his skill set, along with the Polish nightmare and strawweight champion, Joanna ‘Champion’ Jedrzejczyk.

So, who will win the $50,000 bonuses on fight night?

Performance of the Night

#1 - With previously six earned ‘Fight of the Night/Performance Bonuses’ in her last five fights, look for the queen of MMA, Rousey, to pick up another one with a highlight reel finish this weekend against ‘The Preachers Daughter’ in Holly Holm.

I suspect this won’t go past the first round. With respect to Holm, Rousey is light years ahead of her competition.

Holm could have the opportunity to drag this out past the first minute, being a counter striker, but she has not proven that her ability to knock out people as like she did in her boxing days.

Look for the arm-collecting judoka, Rousey, to do a Judo throw when the two exchange in the center of the Octagon. It could be over in the blink of an eye.

Fight of the Night

The second contest with Mark Hunt vs. Antonio Silva will be a fun one, of course. In their first meeting, the fans in attendance saw a majority draw (48-47,.47-47, 47-47), that later got changed to a No Contest because of Silva’s positive drug test that came back for elevated testosterone. As a result, both bonuses for the ‘Fight of the Night’ went to the ‘Super Samoan’.

While it may not be exactly what we’re looking for, Hunt vs. Silva II will be an enjoyable one for all.
