Gall (2-0), a Millers Brothers MMA product, dominated Jackson en route to 45-second submission on the UFC Fight Pass prelims of UFC Fight Night 82. UFC President Dana White had previously revealed the winner of Gall vs. Jackson would be named CM Punk’s, real name Phil Brooks, debut opponent. Gall initially rose to prominence during his appearance on White’s YouTube series “Looking For a Fight,” where fans saw the New Jersey native walk away with a first round submission over Ron Templeton. Almost immediately, Gall took to the mic and called out the former WWE superstar. CM Punk (0-0), real name Phil Brooks, who has been training under the tutelage of Duke Roufus and the rest of Roufussport for the last year, had previously announced he had signed with the UFC during the broadcast of UFC 181 in December 2014. It was initially believed he would be competing as a middleweight but it appears the extensive training over the last few months have allowed Brooks to shed more weight than he anticipated.
