On Monday morning, the UFC announced a heavyweight contest between former champion Junior dos Santos and the surging Ben Rothwell has been added to UFC Fight Night 86 in Zagreb, Croatia on April 10.

Rothwell (36-9) will enter this bout riding the biggest wave of success in his professional career. In his most recent effort, the Wisconsin native submitted former UFC heavyweight champion and submission specialist Josh Barnett late in the second round of their RUFC on FOX 18 bout. This performance not only extended Rothwell’s win streak to four straight but also marked fifth stoppage win in his last six bouts.

To date 33 or Rothwell’s 36 wins have ended in stoppage, including 20 by (T)KO.

Dos Santos (17-4), on the other hand, will be looking to right the ship after suffering a devastating second round knockout loss to Overeem in December. This setback marked theDos Santos’ first apperance inside the Octagon since his hard fought decision win over Stipe Miocic in December 2014.

The Brazilian will enter this bout with 14 career stoppage wins, including 12 by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 11-2.
