It looks like the ‘Irish Dragon’ will soon be back in business.

According to multiple sources, the UFC is eyeing a lightweight matchup between Paul Felder (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and Josh Burkman (28-12 MMA, 6-7 UFC) at UFC Fight Night 88 on Sunday, May 29.

According to MMAjunkie, UFC Fight Night 88 is expected to be headlined by a matchup between Cody Garbrandt and Thomas Almedia at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Since joining forces with the UFC, Felder has captured a narrow split decision win over Jason Saggo in his debut in October 2014. Felder made a name for himself following a spinning back-fist knockout victory heard around the world against long-time veteran, Danny Castillo, at UFC 182.

Felder dropped narrow back-to-back contests to Edson Barboza and Ross Pearson, but recently avenged the only losses of his career with a submission victory over Daron Cruickshank earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 81.

Burkman hits the scenes fresh off a unanimous decision victory over K.J. Noons at UFC Fight Night 82. Prior to that, Burkman dropped consecutive bouts to Dong HyunKim, and Patrick Cote. While top 5 online casino hasn’t posted odds on the bout yet, the fight is sure to be explosive.
