UFC officials announced the change Tuesday afternoon. However Ferguson (20-3), winner of season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter, will remain on the card in the co-main event slot as he welcomes undefeated UFC newcomer Landon Vannata. Vannata (8-0), a Jackson-Wink MMA product, has won all eight of his pro MMA bouts, including seven ending in stoppage. “[Tony Ferguson is a] Very tough pressure fighter with great chokes. It should be a fun puzzle to solve,” said Vannata. The entire event will go down at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls on July 13.
