Combate was the first to report the news. Magny (18-4), veteran of season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter, was last seen picking up a thrllling come-from-behind win over Hector Lombard in March. This pushed the Denver native’s win streak to three straight and marked his 10th win in 11 contests. Prior to this performance, Magny earned back-to-back split decisions over TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum and Erick Silva. Both fights were taken on short notice. He will enter this bout with eight careers stoppage wins, including five by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 10-3. Kim (21-3) is coming off a first round TKO win over Dominic Waters at UFC Fight Night 79 in November. This pushed the South Korean’s win streak to two straight with his previous being a thrid round submission over Josh Burkman last May. ‘Stun Gun’ has earned wins in six of his last seven contests, including a violent third round spinning back elbow knockout over John Hathaway. He will enter this bout with nine career stoppage wins, including eight by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 12-3. UFC 202 is currently scheduled to go down Aug. 20 at the T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas. A welterweight rematch between Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz will serve as the main event.
